How Naomi has regained her energy and spirit!

rose-testimonial

Before coming to Kathy for body conditioning, it took Naomi, my seven year old Sheltie, a long time to get to the door to go outside. Now, she is at the door with lots of energy and ready to go out. I used to sit at the dining room table and wait for her to get to the door. Every time Naomi got up to walk, she was limping and appeared to be in pain. Naomi has made such good progress that once again, she enjoys running, playing, chasing balls and walking. She enjoys the massage and doing the exercises. Overall, Naomi is a much happier dog! Thank you Kathy. Without you, Naomi wouldn’t be doing as well as she is today!

Body Conditioning Helps Bailey Regain His Strength

SONY DSC

I brought Bailey for a massage and was very impressed by Kathy’s knowledge and skills. She taught me strengthening exercises for Bailey’s back legs, which had gotten weaker over the years. I was amazed at how specific the exercises were and how good she was with my dog. I would definitely recommend her for massage and core strengthening.

Why Pine Meadows uses K9 Body Works

Phantom’s giat is more fluid and stronger with improved performance.

I own and operate Pine Meadows Dog Training Center and have used Kathy’s services for massage and body conditioning and have found improvement in the way Phantom, my show dog, moves.  His gait is more fluid and stronger, and Phantom’s show performance has improved. With safety as a priority, I can see how her massage and strengthening services would be beneficial to a wide range of dogs particularly those that are active or involved in sport.

Donna’s Experience With K9 Body Works

Donna McFadden Testimonial graphic

Kathy Frost of K9 Body Works did wonders for my dog! I had her work with Dylan, my 3‐year‐old confirmation show Sheltie for the past two summers while we escaped Florida heat in Traverse City, Michigan. Kathy gave him regular massages. In addition, she had him perform exercises, many with inflated balls, peanuts, and discs, and other exercises requiring no equipment at all. She sent us out each week with “homework” to help me get him fit and healthy sooner than her working with him once a week could provide. Learning and performing these exercises gave Dylan a sense of confidence and a new desire to “please me” by doing what was asked of him. Dylan is a happier and healthier dog who moves well because he is fit and he is a better “showman” in the ring because of his confidence! Kathy was very flexible in scheduling appointments and a wonderful teacher to both Dylan and me. We both gained a great friend, as well as a great therapist!!

The Murphy’s Experience With K9 Body Works

boxer-rott mix2

During this past spring our dog Gryphon, a large Boxer / Rottweiler mix was having noticeable trouble getting on and off his seat. He was unable to extend both hips and was letting out many moans during certain movements. His range of motion was decreasing quickly. We were so lucky to have Kathy’s expertise readily available. In six weeks of sessions with Kathy, our dog was back to himself. Alongwith the massage and body conditioning, she educated my wife and I about home stretching and exercises that we were able to carry out.Her knowledge about canine anatomy and biomechanics allowed our dog to recover fully, we are so grateful.
